Session of both Houses of Federal Parliament prorogued

Kathmandu, April 23: President Ramchandra Paudel has prorogued session of both the Houses of Federal Parliament.

President Paudel, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers made on April 21, had summoned the parliamentary session for coming April 30 in accordance with the Article 93 (1) of the Nepal Constitution.

According to the cabinet recommendation today, the session of both Houses has been temporarily prorogued due to special reasons, stated a press release issued by spokesperson at the President’s Office Ritesh Kumar Shakya.
