Public holiday on May 28 for Bakri-Eid

Kathmandu, May 22: The government has announed a public holiday on May 28 to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha also known as Bakri Eid. 

Spokesperson of Ministry of Home Affairs, Anand Kafle through a press release has informed that the government has announced public holiday on May 28 to celebrate Bakri Eid as informed by the Muslim Commission , one a significant festivals in Islam. 

The Ministry also stated that it extends its best wishes to muslim community as well as all brothers and sisters living in Nepal and abroad on the occassion of Bakri Eid.
