Madhes Province Assembly session to prorogue from midnight today

Mahendranagar (Dhanusha), April 24: The current session of the Madhes Province Assembly will be terminated from midnight today.

The Office of the Chief of Madhes Province stated through a communiqué that the Province Chief Surendra Labh Karna has prorogued, with effect from 12pm today, the current session of the Province Assembly in accordance with Article 183 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal and on the recommendation of the Madhes Province Council of Ministers.

A meeting of the provincial cabinet had on April 22 decided to close the session.
