Gold, silver prices go up

Kathmandu, May 8: The prices of gold and silver have increased in the domestic market today. 

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has increased by Rs 1,300 per tola (11.66 grams) and silver by Rs 120. 

With this, the Federation has fixed the price of gold at Rs 299,900 per tola today. It was traded at Rs 298,600 per tola on Thursday.

Similarly, silver is being traded at Rs 5,275 per tola today against Rs 5,155 on Thursday.

As per the international media, the price of gold has been fixed at 4,715 US dollar per ounce and silver at 79 US dollar per ounce in the international market today.
