Fellowship for international AI researchers, priority for mathematics

Kathmandu, May 29: The government has announced that it will welcome internationally recognized researchers working in AI to returned in Nepal for contribution.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle  while presenting the annual budget for fiscal year of 2026/027 at the joint meeting of the federal parliament- the House of Representatives and the National Assembly has said that 15 Nepali researchers who have earned international fame in AI will be welcome by awarding eminent fellowship.

They will be welcome for contribute in AI in Nepal. Top priority to be there for mathemtical academics.
