Waling, June 26: A person died while 17 others got injured in a jeep accident at Lovely Danda, Waling Municipality-7.
The jeep Ba. A. 7905 was heading to Waling from Tapke along the Mirdi-Chapakot road section when it side-turned at the road side, according to the Syangja district police office.
Of the 18 on board the jeep, one died, 17 got injured and of the 17 injured, condition of three is said to be serious and 12 injured including the seriously wounded three have been sent to Pokhara for further treatment after treatment at primary health center in Waling, according to the police.
Jeep driver Min Bahadur Saru, who also got injured in the accident, has been taken control by the police.
