Access of international market for electricity trade for private sector

Kathmandu, May 29: The government has announced that there will be provision for access of international market for trading electricity for private sector.

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle  while presenting the annual budget for fiscal year of 2026/027 at the joint meeting of the federal parliament- the House of Representatives and the National Assembly has said that there will be provision for private sector to trade electricity in international market.
