14 iPhone mobiles smuggled through customs seized

Kathmandu, June 11: Police have seized 14 iPhone mobiles worth around Rs 700 thousand reportedly brought by evading customs and registered them at Tribhuvan Airport customs office.

A joint police team mobilized from the Police Sector Nagdhunga confiscated the gadgets kept in a black bag while carrying out a checking on the passenger bus with registration number Lu 2 Kha 6566 at the Check Point at Nagdhunga, Chandragiri Municipality-2. The bus had come from Butwal. 

Superintendent of Police Pawan Kumar Bhattarai said that the person bringing the iPhone mobiles failed to produce related invoice for the gadget.
